Personal Development

The Personal Development curriculum aims to develop students' knowledge and understanding of how to live in the wider world. We equip students with the skills to be able to make decisions which would benefit their future and to identify risky behaviours, being able to guide them to make the right choices when faced with difficult situations. Pupils who are emotionally healthy do better at school. Personal Development education helps children and young people to achieve their potential by supporting their wellbeing and tackling issues that can affect their ability to learn, such as anxiety and unhealthy relationships.
