Dear Parent / Carer,
I am delighted to announce that after the success of our previous after school clubs, the next ones will be as follows: after school athletics club. The clubs will commence after half term, with Year 7 and 8 beginning on Wednesday 9th of June and Year 9 and 10 beginning on Thursday the 10th June.
Wednesdays - Year 7 and 8
Thursdays - Year 9 and 10
Numbers will be limited to 30 students for each activity on offer, this will be on a first come, first served basis, this is due to current Covid-19 regulations. In addition to the 30 spaces, there will also be 5 reserve spaces, you will be contacted if your child is on the reserve list. Once the spaces are full the google form will close. If you have signed your child up and you haven’t been contacted that means that your child has a space in the club.
Students should be wearing the correct PE kit and trainers for activities. The club starts at 3:30pm and students need to ensure safe travel home at 4:15pm.
The school will continue to provide extra-curricular sport as long as we can do so in a way which i) maintains the integrity of schools’ Covid-19 protocols such as approach to bubbles, staffing and social distancing and ii) is subject to our completed appropriate risk assessments.
