Further to the consultation on Foundation status we are pleased to confirm that as from 1 September 2009 The Thomas Lord Audley School was granted Foundation status.
Record GCSE results!
We are pleased to report that last year’s Year 11 students recorded the best GCSE results in the school’s history.
57% of the cohort achieved 5 A*-C which was a 6% increase on last year and a 23% increase on 2007.
38% of the cohort achieved 5 A*-C including English and Maths which was a 5% increase on last year and an 11% increase on 2007.
95% of the cohort achieved 5A*-G including English and Maths which was a 2% increase on 2007 and 2008
These results complement the record KS3 results achieved by Year 9 in the summer.
New Intake
The Year 7 intake is the biggest for 5 years and all of the students look extremely smart in their new uniform.
The School continues to go from strength to strength and we would like to thank all parents and friends of the school for their continued support.
